Aly Raisman and Colton Underwood confirmed they are a couple on Monday night when they walked the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year red carpet in New York together.

The Olympic gymnast revealed she has been secretly dating the 24-year-old football player since he asked her out in a cute social media video back in August.

Underwood's former Raider's teammate Andrew East is married to Raisman's friend and fellow Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson; In a profile video on Aly's romantic life by Yahoo Sports, she was surprised with a video clip of Underwood asking if she'd ever like to go on a double date.

'They've actually told me about him before... he's very cute,' she told the interviewer at the time. 'Yeah I would go on a date with him.'

She revealed last night: 'We happened to both be in Denver at the same time. I was there for less than 12 hours, he was flying in for just a few days. it just ended up working perfectly.'

After than he drove 90 minutes back and forth to meet her for their second and third dates. She has since met his family, and will be seeing them again for the holidays.

According to People, the couple looked 'really happy together' inside the ceremony.
