The look of love! Chris Pratt and Anna Faris kiss and gaze into each other's eyes at LA premiere of Passengers

Chris Pratt may be the leading man of Morten Tyldum's soon-to-be-released science fiction film Passengers.

Yet when the film celebrated its Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday, his wife Anna Faris was the showstopper on the black carpet.

She'd pulled on a cleavage-baring sheer dress, and grabbed a romantic moment with her man, kissing him on the lips and gazing into his eyes.

Public display: Chris Pratt and Anna Faris got quite intimate on the black carpet when his forthcoming film Passengers celebrated its Los Angeles premiere Wednesday night

The 40-year-old had pulled aside her fringe and wrapped her platinum blonde hair into a low ponytail for the evening's event.

Her lacy purple and grey dress was, in some areas, translucent and, in others, splattered with an intricate floral pattern.

Its hem stopped far enough above her ankle to provide a full view of the nude stilettos she'd selected.

Location, location, location: The event was held at the Village Theatre in Westwood

Be an ice queen in chilly pastels this winter

It was the premiere of Passengers last night in Los Angeles and while all eyes were on Jennifer Lawrence in Dior let's not forget the lovely Anna Faris who also took the red carpet by storm.

The actress opted for an extremely pretty midi dress by Reem Acra. We love the tulle ballerina skirt, plunging neckline, lace inserts and embellishment around the neckline. In a soft lilac hue it's a romantic option for evening.

This dress isn't available online but you can find some of the AW16 Reem Acra collection at Shopbop so why not click (right) to take a closer look? Or we've picked out some lovely lilac dresses that will help you nail Anna's snow queen style.

Asos, Jarlo, Keepsake and Toby Heart Ginger have all got washed out pastels that'll do the trick.

Beside her, the dashing Jurassic World star had opted for a midnight blue three-piece suit and a checked grey tie.

The 37-year-old, who's been married to his wife for seven years, stars opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the film.

Their characters are meant to remain unconscious on their travelling spaceship for over a century, but are jolted awake 90 years too soon.

The romance continues: The couple also took some time to gaze into one another's eyes

When you got it: The 40-year-old had pulled on a purple and grey sheer dress that bared quite a bit of bust

Arthur, a robot barman played by Michael Sheen, is also on the flight, and - such is his luck - winds up a third wheel when the two humans begin to fall for one another.

As their romance burgeons, they discover the ship - and therefore thousands of passengers who'd stayed asleep - is malfunctioning and they've got to save it.

At Wednesday night's event, the Guardians Of The Galaxy star got in a bit of posing with the Silver Linings Playbook Oscar-winner and the besuited Frost/Nixon actor.

The 26-year-old had turned up to the Village Theatre in Westwood wearing a flowing, strapless white ball gown with a multicoloured heart stitched at the bust.

A couple weeks past, during an episode of her podcast Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the The House Bunny star had responded to rumours her marriage was on the rocks.

Though she didn't refer to the specific thrust of the speculation, she did note that it was of the 'tabloid' variety and that it had occurred roughly a year past.

Glamorous: Faris' lacy purple and grey dress was, in some areas, translucent and, in others, splattered with an intricate floral pattern

Firm friends: Anna also got a big hug from Chris's co-star Jennifer at the event

Whilst interviewing Isla Fisher, Faris had dished that 'for the first time, like, I don't know, maybe a year ago or ten months ago, we were in the public a little bit.'

Though she didn't mention any specific source, Star did run a piece last July under the headline: 'Anna Faris Fears She'll Lose Chris Pratt To His Hot Costar-Jennifer Lawrence.'

Faris did say on her show: 'Like, there's some tabloid rumours about, like, strain in our relationship, and I just remember feeling so hurt, in a way that bothered me, because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody that could be affected by - '

'People that you haven't met,' Mrs Sacha Baron Cohen offered, to which her hostess replied: 'Or tabloid s***, you know? Like, can't I just slough it off?'

Though 'I take pride in how great my relationship is with Chris,' living 'in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in LA raising our child, like, of course I'm gonna feel vulnerable, like any normal human would.'

As such, she'd begin to 'feel incredibly insecure.' When the Confessions Of A Shopaholic star asked after 'the best course of action,' Faris conceded: 'I think it is to never respond,' although 'My kneejerk reaction was to be like: "F*** you."'

Keeping close: Faris admitted on her podcast earlier this month that she felt 'insecure' about 'tabloid rumours about, like, strain in our relationship'

Strategy: Her tack is to 'never respond,' although although 'My kneejerk reaction was to be like: "F*** you"'
