Bad times: Danniella Westbrook has reportedly been left homeless after losing both her house and car due to insufficient funds

Danniella has faced a fair amount of strife throughout 2016, when she was subject to rumours of a relapse with her cocaine addiction atop trouble with her love life.

The London-born actress famously suffered a severe drug problem which resulted in her blowing a reported £250,000 on cocaine after taking five grams a day before her septum eroded due to frequent use.

Despite being back on the straight and narrow, Danniella, who was forced to have painful and invasive dental surgery this year, is now said to be dealing with homelessness.

A source told the publication: 'She’s been busy viewing but hasn’t found her new home. Obviously timing isn’t great with it being so close to Christmas but she isn’t rushing into anything and is staying with friends and family over the festive period.

'Danniella now has a whole new team around her after spending a lot of 2016 surrounded by toxic people.'

Despite her new positive attitude, Danniella has battled this year after she claimed she was the victim of sick trolls who hacked her emails and social media and falsely released information claiming she has had a drugs relapse.

Talking to the MailOnline in October, she said she is hoping the police will take swift action and 'send this crank to prison.'

She added: 'It's not nice to think they are fixated on pretending to be me and getting access to all my private emails. To be honest, I'm going to go away and try and rest and relax. This whole thing is very frightening and draining. It's like this stalker won't give up until I'm run into the ground.'

Her comments come as she denied saying she was using cocaine once again. She also said: 'I'm both shocked and scared about how much control this stalker/hacker has on my private emails and social media. I'm scared that they might come after my kids or me.'

Her words come after a new Instagram post appeared in which she apparently advised her fans not to take drugs - although it's not clear if Danniella posted this herself.

The snap was accompanied with the words: 'My number one piece of advice I would give to the younger generation is Dont do drugs!!! [sic]'

Confidence knocked: Despite her new positive attitude, Danniella has battled this year after she claimed she was the victim of sick trolls who hacked her emails and social media and falsely released information claiming she has had a drugs relapse

An email to the MailOnline at the time read: 'I really need help. I'm relapsing so bad.'

Earlier in the day, she was reported to have told Daily Star Online: 'I have relapsed and I'm trying to stop using, but it's a long road ahead. I feel broken and that I'm back to square one and my first form of defence is cocaine.'

The Mirror reported that she has spent the reported £200,000 fee from Celebrity Big Brother. They wrote that she said: 'Yes, I am broke, alone and back on drugs. My friends are right to worry. I am a loose canon. I spend every penny I have on being the ultimate party girl. I feel like it's still the 90s.'
