Kristen Stewart stepped out on Wednesday morning sporting a bruised face and cuts on her knees while in Savannah, Georgia.

The 26-year-old, who was with her rumoured new girlfriend, model Stella Maxwell, later swapped the look for ripped jeans and a hoodie with her scraped knees covered in bandages.

It's unclear how Kristen sustained the injuries, although she may have fallen on a night out.

The Twilight actress, who is in Georgia for her new film - an as yet untitled Lizzie Borden project - didn't try to hide the heavy bruising on her knees. 

Kristen donned black shorts with striped socks and a thick grey jacket.

Although she shielded her eyes with sunglasses, bruising was evident along her eye and on her forehead.
