Bring your child to work day! Kim Kardashian receives support from daughter North in a behind-the-scenes look at her saucy Love magazine shoot

On photo shoots many celebrities turn up with a huge entourage but, aside from her glam squad, there is only one person this star wants by her side.

Kim Kardashian has released a behind-the-scenes look at her just out Love Magazine Advent calendar shoot.

The 36-year-old star had her hairdresser Cesar Ramirez post a series of candid snaps on her website Kim Kardashian West on Friday, including a photo capturing a sweet moment between the star and her daughter North.

In the picture, the three-year-old sits on her mother's lap giggling away.

While Kim is all dressed up ready for her close up in nude coloured Agent Provocateur lingerie and a faux fur jacket, the star drops what she is doing to spend a little time with her daughter.

The official video of the highly stylized lingerie shoot was released by Love earlier this week but the shoot itself was done a few months ago prior to Kim's attack in Paris.

As Kim is still laying low after the robbery, hair stylist Cesar gave fans a run down on what happened during the shoot.

The hairstylist said on KimKardashianWest.com: 'Kim was perfectly seductive in her movements, which helped make everything come together. 

'I loved everything about this look for her. I think she really shows us a simple but sexy mysterious side here.'

For the shoot Kim and Cesar decided to go for a different look.

'It was one of those shoots where we got the chance to try something new. Kim and I had been wanting to try super long hair for a while and we finally got the chance.'

He used some long clip-ins while her makeup artist 'did some beautiful makeup that really played up her eyes'.

As the shoot eventually had the Northern Lights added behind the star in post-production there were some hurdles to jump, Cesar said.

'The set was a green screen, so we had to be creative and imagine the scenery that would be edited in later. 

'We were shooting in an indoor studio, so I had to work the fans to create the illusion of wind blowing her hair as if she were really walking through the Northern Lights.'

This year's Love calendar has also included Kim's sister Kendall, Chrissy Teigen, Doutzen Kroes and Emily Ratajkowski. 

Something new: Kim tried out having long hair for the shoot thanks to some clip-ins and her stylist's skills
