But Australian actress Margot Robbie is back home for Christmas, sharing an Instagram photo from Queensland's Gold Coast on Friday.

The 26-year-old wore a wide-brimmed hat and reflective sunglasses, as enjoyed cocktails at Bam Bam Bakehouse at Mermaid Beach.

The trip Down Under is a well-earned break for the former Neighbours star, as her career goes from strength to strength.

She will also reprise her role as supervillain Harley Quinn in spin-off Gotham City Sirens, it was recently announced.

Meanwhile, she is dating Tom Ackerley after they met in 2013 on set of World War II drama Suite Française in France.
