According to TMZ, her home renovation show co-host realized he was developing feelings for Alyssa Logan during the time she took care of the couple's two children.

The star was said to have been warned by his friends not to pursue a relationship while Alyssa was an employee.

He fired her before they began dating in September.

The nanny: Alyssa Logan, 23,  'dated Tarek El Moussa, 35' after he split from his wife Christina; she is pictured at a concert in October, at which she was seen with the Flip or Flop star

However, the relationship was short-lived as the pair parted ways in October, after being seen together at a Florida Georgia Line concert.

Meanwhile, the mom-of-two is reportedly dating the family's contractor, Gary Anderson.

This comes after Tarek and Christina silently decided to live separately in May.

Flipped feelings? The pair have been living separately for several months, but are trying to reconcile according to a source close to the couple

They had been married for seven years before making the public announcement of their split on Monday.

However TMZ recently noted the estranged couple are trying to heal their relationship before calling it quits for good, for the sake of their two children.

In a further development a source close to the reality show couple said they are working to resolve their issues and are not yet ready to throw in the towel in an effort to keep their family intact.
