Don't come between an emotional, stroppy teenager and her iPhone, an unfortunate granddad has learned.

Footage has emerged from an American shopping mall of a 'spoiled brat' screaming and swearing impatiently at an elderly man because they were late for an iPhone appointment.

The pair were seemingly due at an Apple Genius Bar to fix the teen's beloved phone but waiting for food at the mall had slowed them down.

The green-haired youngster is vividly distraught by the situation as she shouts at her granddad: 'I don't want to wait in line for 20 f*****g minutes doing absolutely nothing when we're supposed to be at our f*****g appointment.'

The older man shows an impressive amount of patience and doesn't seem alarmed by the young girl's violent language and lack of respect.

She dramatically flails her arms around as her tension increases. 'I've been starving all f*****g day!' she cries before her angry shouts turn to teary wails as she fears she's going to lose their spot at the Genius Bar.

'We were supposed to be there five minutes ago,' she says vehemently, alternating between aggressively fixing her grandfather with a bitter stare and scrolling angrily on her iPhone.

'Can you please just go up there and talk to them for me and like leave me the money or something,' the green-haired girl eventually decides.

'You take my phone and you go up there and you talk to them.'

The elderly man doesn't stop to argue and gives in instantly, handing over his bank card and taking her phone so he can take it to get fixed himself while she buys food.

'Go, go, go, go,' she shouts impatiently at her relative before screaming, 'F**k!' as he walks off.

Even after the grandfather has gone off on his mission she continues to scowl furiously and pace in the queue saying, 'F**k' repeatedly. She puts her hand to her head in desperation as well as stomping her foot on the ground.

The clip was uploaded to Liveleak by user RickyFitts829 where it racked up thousand of views, but it has since been deleted.

RickyFitts829 said of the encounter: 'I was in a mall waiting for Asian food which ended up tasting like garbage. All of a sudden this green haired girl starts cussing at her Grandpa about how they're going to be late to fix her iPhone. Merry Christmas I guess.'
