This is what happens when you fall asleep in front of the President: Incredible images from White House photographers reveal Obama's most amazing moments of 2013
An adorable photograph has captured the moment it all got a bit too much for a young Barack Obama fan.
In a picture, part of a round up of the best White House photographs of the year, the President is seen smiling at the camera and pointing to a young boy who had fallen asleep at the table of an event he was attending.
The child, perhaps aged around 10, was dressed in his Sunday best with shirt, tie and jacket.

September 20, 2013. 'A Ford truck was stationed nearby the podium while the President delivered remarks on the economy at the Ford Kansas City Stamping Plant in Liberty, Missouri. After the speech, I positioned myself near the truck guessing that the President might lean over the hood of the truck to shake hands with Ford employees. Instead he opened the passenger door and slid over to the driver's seat so he could get even closer to the employees,' Souza said

But despite his smart attire, he became the laughing stock of the room when Obama chose to highlight the chap's nap - and in turn poke fun at himself as he was no doubt addressing the attendees when the boy nodded off.
The unseen image is from a father's day event on June 14.

Obama is currently in Hawaii celebrating New Year's Day with his family, after ringing in the new year at his rented vacation home with friends and family.
He
has largely managed to keep out of the public eye during the annual
trip, and has spent his time doing daily workouts, hiking and going to
the beach, having dinner with friends and family and playing golf.
However,
on Christmas, the president and first lady Michelle Obama did appear in
public at a Hawaii military base to thank the troops and their
families.
Behind the scenes, aides say Obama has been receiving updates on the problematic rollout of his signature health care law. Insurance coverage is scheduled to start January 1 for the more than 2 million people who have enrolled since sign-ups opened at the beginning of October.
Widespread glitches on the HealthCare.gov website appear to be largely fixed, but insurers say they are still receiving thousands of erroneous sign-ups from the government.

In fact, Bo features in a number of the images in the 'Best Of' series, including one where the beloved Portuguese Water Dog is sitting comfortable in a chair in the Oval Office as the President enters for work with a faux-disapproving look.
Aides say the president has also been reviewing a presidential panel's recommendations for placing limits on the National Security Agency's surveillance programs. Obama is not obligated to accept the panel's recommendations and is expected to announce his decisions in January.
The Obamas return to Washington, D.C. this weekend.
The adorable pictures come after the President showed even he wasn't too cool for a selfie, squeezing in for a now-iconic picture with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Denmark's Prime Minister Helle Thorning Schmidt at Nelson Mandela's memorial.
