Young star! Victoria's youngest song Cruz hit the headlines last week when he released his debut track If Every Day Was Christmas

Meanwhile Victoria's youngest song Cruz hit the headlines last week when he released his debut track If Every Day Was Christmas.

Following the furor, Nicole Scherzinger admitted she'd been scouted as a potential duet partner for the youngster.

The X Factor judge revealed The Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has asked her about collaborating with the young aspiring pop star.

Speaking at the homecoming event of her X Factor finalist Matt Terry in Bromley at the time, the former Pussycat Doll said in an interview with The Sun: 'Victoria was just telling me about her son the other day. He’s just doing it all himself and she’s supporting him.'

He made the good list! Cruz grinned from ear-to-ear as he posed with Santa in the grotto

Kind-hearted: The youngster posted another snap from his Lapland adventure with his cousin Fin, telling his followers the boys were making toys for their sisters

Go mad for plaid in Victoria's trousers

Victoria Beckham has come along way since "the little Gucci dress or the little Gucci dress."

She's gone oversized and slouchy in her silhouettes for her eponymous fashion line. It's that casual, androgynous aesthetic that gives Victoria her enviable effortless appeal.

So of course we'll follow this posh beauty to the end of the world when it comes to her personal sense of style and we couldn't be more enamored with these plaid trousers and matching overcoat from her Pre-Fall collection.

Sadly, we'll have to wait till Autumn 2017 before we can get our hands on these tartan beauties which is really a shame because we can use a pair similar this winter! That being said, why don't you check (haha) into our favorite alternatives in the edit below?

The news will no doubt be frowned upon by television personality Piers Morgan, after he called Cruz's early pop breakthrough 'sickening' on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain, adding that Cruz 'should be at school.'

Clear to state that he wasn't criticising Cruz himself, Piers said: 'It's not his fault. He's 11. But how did he manage to release this? It's sickening.'

Piers believes that if Cruz wants to be a pop star, he should go through the 'hard graft' like other singers, not just release something because his parents are famous.

However this response was met with equal fury from the youngster's manager Scooter Braun - who is also responsible for pop sensation Justin Bieber.

Taking to Twitter, the music manager fired back: 'He is an 11 year old who wanted to make a song to help other kids. Once again Piers shows why he is a jackass and why his show was cancelled.'

Piers then added: 'Stop pretending this is about charity when it's about promoting Brand Beckham & making YOU a ton of money off another young kid's back.'

To which Scooter replied: '@piersmorgan how about you match him dollar for dollar to the charity? Instead of criticizing step up and help these kids the way Cruz is.'

Cruz released his first single, which is set to raise money for Global's Make Some Noise campaign, at the beginning of the month.

He filmed the music video for the track on Thursday with his two brothers Brooklyn, 17, and Romeo, 14.

Proud parents: David and Victoria are parents to aspiring photographer Brooklyn, model Romeo, singer Cruz and youngest daughter Harper
