Last EVER Great Christmas Bake Off: BBC special marred by cheating row as returning contestant Chetna Makan accuses James Morton of copying her
- BBC One two-part Christmas special will see the last ever episodes to air
- James, 25, from Glasgow, was the runner-up in the third series of GBBO in 2012
- Chetna, 37, from Kent, just missed out on the final of the fifth series in 2014
- James prompts accusations of cheating after he changes his design at the last minute to one that is similar to Chetna's
- The most outrageous innuendo relates to an 'eight-inch long horseradish' which Mary Berry holds - leaving her fellow stars in hysterics
It is normally known for the camaraderie between bakers.
But the final episode of Great British Bake Off ever to be aired on the BBC sees the atmosphere turn sour after two returning contestants become embroiled in a cheating row.
James Morton, 25, from the third series of GBBO, annoys Chetna Makan, 37, returning from the fifth series, when he is accused of copying her design in the technical challenge.
She is left stunned when he blatantly changes his Scandinavian festive loaf in front of her and shouts: 'James you are cheating!' during the Boxing Day programme.

But Chetna is annoyed when she sees James copying her design in the technical challenge and calls him a cheater
The junior doctor - who was a runner-up in the 2012 series - attempts to plait together his bread but it goes disastrously wrong.
When Chetna, who just missed out on the final in 2014, confidently begins plaiting her loaf in figure-of-eight sections James ignores the unspoken Bake Off rules and alters his own design.
Glaswegian James - who has even released his own recipe book titled Brilliant Bread - is miffed at the fact Chetna's loaf is more impressive.
'Oh that’s so annoying!,' James moans in the BBC Christmas special, 'I reckon Chetna has got it right, I can fix this.
'I am just trying to think how I can make it look more like Chetna’s.'
Presenter Mel Giedroyc (right) witnesses the entire row and attempts to try and resolve things by joking with the bakers that it's a 'Bake Off first'
Paul Hollywood (left) and Mary Berry (right) are completely ignorant to the drama that is going down in the tent
The entire gang, including Sue Perkins (second right) return for the last ever time before GBBO leaves the famous tent for Channel 4
Chetna's technical challenge is in danger after her design gets copied by her fellow baker James
Presenter Mel Giedroyc witnesses the entire row and prods Chetna over why she thinks James is cheating.
‘Because he has changed it after seeing my design. Bake Off first!' Chetna claims.
James tries to smooth things over with a compliment but Mel stokes the tense atmosphere as she jokes: ‘Bake Off first, we have a cheating incident… Involving "Cheatna", hide your goods Chetna!'
James - who has released his own book titled Brilliant Bread - is miffed that he didn't know the correct way to make the festive loaf
Howard, Chetna, James and Janet all battle it out in the second part of The Christmas Bake Off special
The fashion designer is shocked at James attempts to pip her to the post in the technical challenge which requires the bakers to all bake the exact same recipe with minimal instructions
'He’s cheated!' she tells the cameras.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry are completely ignorant to what's going on as they have to leave the room, so it's down to Mel to mediate.
'Chets do you want to take this further?' the comedian asks.
Chetna threatens to take James 'outside' while they wait for their loaves to prove for a second time before being placed in the oven.
The baking-based innuendo continues as it always has on GBBO with the most outrageous relating to an 'eight-inch long horseradish' which Mary holds - leaving her fellow stars in hysterics.
GBBO ended its seven series run with the BBC in September after Love Productions revealed the show will be moving to Channel 4 after the BBC was unable to match their rival broadcaster's reported bid of £75m.
The two-part Christmas Bake Off special airs on Christmas Day at 4.45pm on BBC One and Boxing Day, BBC One at 7pm
