She's well known for spending Christmas in snowy Aspen, Colorado.

And Mariah Carey opted for an AirBnB rental this year... but it's definitely in a different stratosphere to the properties most people can afford.

The $22m mountain estate is the height of luxury and certainly fit for the superstar singer, dubbed the Queen Of Christmas. She's sharing the property with her new 'beau' Bryan Tanaka and her two children.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom mansion features a stunning, open-plan lounge with a vaulted ceiling and a fireplace plus magnificent views over the mountains and town.

An elevator leads to the games room, which includes a pool table and a wet bar.

There is also a media lounge, a wine room and a gym for working off all those Christmas calories,

The house has ski-in, ski-out access to the Aspen Highlands Mountains so it's just as well it also has a sauna for easing aching muscles after a long day on the slopes.

The outdoor patio boasts a gorgeous dining area complete with a hot tub that Mimi will enjoy while taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains. 

Of course, it also has a chef's kitchen but the superstar is unlikely to be the one doing the cooking for her party.

Mariah is there with her backing dancer Tanaka, who is her reported new beau, and her five-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

So romantic: The bedroom, complete with wood-beamed ceiling and another Christmas tree, will stay comfy and cosy thanks to the stone-clad fireplace

They will no doubt be delighted by the two Christmas trees in the cavernous living area and the other firs in the bedrooms.

Last year, Mariah's boyfriend at the time, James Packer, joined the family for their festivities.

Despite her growing friendship with Bryan, Mariah told E! News that she still wants the same thing for Christmas: 'Love would be fantastic!'
