Azealia Banks has suffered a miscarriage.

The 25-year-old rapper took to her Facebook page on Tuesday to announce the tragic news - in a post which has since been deleted - with her fans and admitted she feels 'confused and guilty.'

She also said she is in 'shock' over what has happened.

The 212 hit-maker decided to tell her followers the sad news because she wanted to know if others who had lost a baby felt like a 'failure' like she does right now in the wake of the miscarriage.

Her emotional post read: 'So I've just had a really major life event happen and I want to talk about it because this wouldn't be an Azealia Banks page without loads of oversharing right?'

'Anywho, I've just had a miscarriage and am pretty taken aback by it all and really confused and in shock and guilty and a bit depressed and like a failure and very ashamed,' she continued.

She asked her fans: 'Has anyone else had this same experience who cares to share some words of wisdom or words of anything regarding this topic.'

Azealia received an outpouring of support and condolences from fans all urging her not to blame herself for what happened.

One fan posted in support: 'Your not a failure! Its normal to feel these emotions after a traumatic event i felt the same after mine. Its hard to believe right now but it does get easier over time. You never get over it but its easier to live with. You grieve how you need to and remember it wasn't your fault and your not a failure. (sic)'

Another follower responded: 'Omg I hope you recover soon and get some rest and relaxation. Take time to process what just happened. Try not to stress it. (sic)'

The LA County District Attorney's office stated that the Oscar winner was justified throwing the rapper out of his Beverly Hills Hotel suite, where the altercation occurred.

They rejected filing a battery charge against the Gladiator star due to 'lack of sufficient evidence.'

Multiple party attendees described Azealia as 'erratic' and 'verbally aggressive.'

Prosecutors determined that a jury would likely 'find the physical escort out of the room was justified to prevent the imminent violence threatened by Banks.'

The controversial singer and songwriter filed a report with the Beverly Hills Police Department against the Australian actor alleging he choked her, spat on her and called her the N-word.

As for the N-word, Russell's The Man with the Iron Fists director RZA confirmed in a Facebook post on October 20 that the actor did not utter a racial slang.

'I did not hear Russell call her a n*****,' the 47-year-old rapper, actor and filmmaker - born Robert Diggs - wrote.
