Don't tell me to stop! Madonna's son David Banda is already taller than his superstar mum aged just ELEVEN as they arrive hand-in-hand in New York

She is used to commanding any room she walks into.

But Madonna's son David Banda stole some of her spotlight as they jetted into New York on Tuesday.

The singer's youngest boy has already overtaken his 59-year-old mother in the height stakes aged just 11.

The singer - who stands at 5.3 feet - was wrapped up in a heavy jacket with an enormous fur hood, which thankfully added some height to her petite frame.

At the end of her frayed black jeans she rocked a pair of fellow-superstar Rihanna's Puma Fentys.

But the standout item of Madge's wardrobe was surely the cute teddy bear policeman jumper. 

David looked just as warm and comfy in Nike athletic gear.

It wasn't hard to spot Madonna walking through JFK airport hand-in-hand with her son David Banda. The pop singer looked snug in a fur trimmed parka and Coach scarf which she layered over a Moschino sweater, cropped jeans and Puma sneakers.

While the pair were likely returning to their $7.3million New York City apartment, the Rebel Heart hitmaker is currently embroiled in a legal argument over whether or not she can continue to live there.

Madonna has been suing her building after they changed the terms of her lease, introducing a strict rule which prevents her children or staff being in residence at her property unless she is present.

The Like A Virgin star has argued that she can't be expected to be full-time resident at the Upper West apartment, although it's her primary residence, as she travels for work and it would affect her 20-year-old daughter Lourdes.

She claimed  the board created the new rule in 2014, meaning her children and domestic help cannot live in  pad unless she is also in residence.

As well as Lourdes, and David, Madonna is also mom to ten-year-old Mercy James, and 16-year-old Rocco, who lives in the UK with his dad, director Guy Ricthie. 

The co-op has also made it a rule that anyone under 16 cannot live in the home without a person over 21 being present, so Lourdes also cannot look after her younger siblings either.
