Margot Robbie enjoyed a sweet moment with her family after marrying her longtime boyfriend Tom Ackerley in a secret wedding in Byron Bay.

The Australian actress, 26, looked stunning as she walked through the grounds of the private estate in Coorabell she had hired for her big day over the weekend.

Margot was seen wearing a boho-inspired gown - believed to have been Oscar De La Renta - which boasted floaty sleeves and fell loosely over her slender frame.

With her blonde hair loosely curled around her face, she looked every inch the blushing bride as she chatted to her young male relative.

Other guests who made up the congregation of around 50 followed through the lush grounds of the property.

The grounds featured a white marquee structure with smaller awnings surrounding as guests were treated to pizza and cocktails alongside a DJ set by the pool.

Margot had been given away by her mum, physiotherapist Sarie Kessler, and was joined by siblings Lachlan, Cameron and sister Anya.

According to a report from News.com.au, the festivities kicked off at 4pm.

How Margot got married in secret

The actress was determined to keep her intimate nuptials under wraps.

She ordered her 50 guests to hand over the phones.

The congregations were spread across different locations in Australia's Gold Coast and were picked up by bus before heading to Byron Bay.

Up to a dozen security guards were also present at the event, which took place at a private estate in Coorabell.

The couple exchanged their vows under a large white teepee-style tent at a luxurious property in Coorabell, in Byron Bay's hinterland.

Following the ceremony, guests danced into the night, with celebrations reportedly lasting until around 11pm.

The wedding location was so top secret, with even guests kept in the dark about where the couple would wed. 

The publication states those lucky enough to score an invite were asked to gather at different locations from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast, so that they could be collected by bus and taken to the under-wraps locale. 

The idyllic spot is surrounded by lush mountains, making it the perfect hideaway.

Inside, the accommodation boasts wooden floorboards and walls and holds a rustic charm, while outside features acres of greenery and a picturesque pool. 

A short drive west of Byron Bay town centre, the charming venue boasts stunning country charm as well as modern luxury.

There was a social media blackout on the event, with guests asked to hand over mobiles and cameras, and there was a strong security presence at the property.

The report states up to a dozen security guards were on hand.

On Tuesday afternoon, Margot took to Instagram to flaunt her diamond ring and rose gold wedding band in a cheeky Instagram snap.

She was seen sticking up her ring finger to the camera while kissing her beau in the background.

Jewellers who spoke to Daily Mail Australia estimated the gold ring to cost between $20,000 to $30,000, with a 1.5 carat pear-shaped diamond at its centre.

As their lips locked in the intimate Instagram snap, Tom lent forward and rested his hand on the beauty's leg while she donned another loose-fitting white ensemble.

The garment fell loosely over Margot's body and featured what looked to be long bell sleeves. 

Tom also looked to be dressed casually in the faded frame, wearing a white T-shirt and sunglasses while he pulled his hair back into a man-bun.   

Before their big day, the blonde beauty arrived home in a suggestive Say 'I Do' Down Under T-shirt at Gold Coast airport last week.

The actress's other siblings Lachlan and Anya were assumed to also be in attendance, with her sister reportedly her maid of honour on the special day.

After the couple had tied the knot, Tom’s brother James posted images to social media from inside the secret event, while photos of Margot’s brother Cameron also found their way online. 

Cameron, who flew to Queensland on Saturday, was tagged in a photo at what is thought to be Margot and Tom's wedding party, along with four of her friends. 

Her brother Lachlan also took to Instagram to send his well-wishes, writing: 'Congratulations to my little sister and new brother.' 

According to the Northern Star, Margot Robbie's favourite dishes were on offer at her intimate wedding.

Breakfast cereal Coco Pops - known as Cocoa Krispies in the USA - was reportedly served for dessert.

The news outlet also reported that pizza was on hand for attendees. 

On Monday, Woman's Day reported that Tom wished to get married in his native UK, but gave up his dream for his lady, who has always wanted to say 'I do' Down Under.

The magazine also claimed that the pair wrote their own vows for the ceremony.

Before the ceremony it appeared Margot had a hens night .

Party pics emerged on the Instagram accounts of several of the Suicide Squad star's best pals.

Over the weekend, the actress's close friend Brittany Lindores posted a snap of herself, another girlfriend and Margot drinking what she described as 'Purple G&Ts'.
