Others choose accept their situation and take to social media to share their unfortunate experiences.

Wrapping fails have been some of the most common this Christmas, with thousands taking to Instagram to show off their creations. 

One woman spent hours wrapping her gifts in adorable dog themed wrapping paper before realising she had missed one crucial step.
