But Miley Cyrus appears to be every inch part of her beau's famous family, having posed for a cute selfie with future sister-in-law Elsa Pataky on Christmas Eve.

Clearly in high festive spirits, Elsa shared the fun-loving snap on her Instagram page with the caption: 'Fun Christmas Party with my family ! Fiesta de Navidad con mi family!! happy Christmas! Feliz Navidad!'

Earlier, Miley shared a photo of herself and Liam as the pair donned ugly Christmas sweaters.

Liam wore traditional green and red fare featuring Rudolphs, stars and candy canes.

As well as her 'eyebags', Miley also showed off a pretty battered manicure, and a pretty sizeable spliff.

Miley - who has never made a secret of her marijuana inclination - no longer has to worry about the legal ramifications if ever she did, since weed is now legal in the state of California.
