Ex-Love Island contestant Angel Flukes wins German version of Britain's Got Talent with 'breathtaking' rendition of Celine Dion's Think Twice

A British model and former reality star from ITV's Love Island has won Germany's version of Britain's Got Talent. 

Angel Flukes, 28, scooped a whopping 100,000 Euros after singing her way to the top of the prime time German show Supertalent. 

She also appeared on ITV's hit reality show Love Island last year, where she called her saucy stint a 'well-paid pie in the face'.

This week she impressed judges and five million viewers across Germany to win the title, with her rendition of Celine Dion's Think Twice in front of around 5 million viewers.  

Angel, from Saltash, Cornwall, is the first British and female winner of the talent show in the decade it has been on air. 

The talented singer triumphed over acrobats, roller skating dancers, two singers, a contortionist and a puppet singing John Lennon's hit Imagine.

'I really did not expect to win. I am very happy,' she said, according to the BBC. 'It's hard to believe but this time last year I was getting up at seven o'clock to flip eggs in a bar.

'But I have always wanted this, it's been my dream since I was a little girl. My dream has come true and it's unbelievable.' 

Judge Dieter Bohlen told her: 'You're not just an angel, you look like you're an angel... world class,' while fellow judge Victoria Swarovski dubbed her performance 'breathtaking.'

Angel, who has lived in Mallorca since she was 21, was talent spotted while performing at a German bar on the Spanish Island.  

Angel also said she'd be spending some of her winnings on her wedding to fiance Lee, 33, next year.

According to her website, she began singing 'as early as speaking' and entertained her 'friends and family with the song Somewhere Over The Rainbow'.'

In 1998 Angel was one of five singers to win a half-day session in a recording studio following a karaoke competition organised by her local newspaper, The Plymouth Herald.

Angel also made it into the top 100 of FHM Magazine's Holiday Honeys competition in 2010.
