It won't be much longer until 2017 is here.

And it looks like Nicole Richie and her family will be spending the rest of the year out of town.

The reality star, 35, her husband Joel Madden, 37, and their two children, Harlow, eight, Sparrow, seven, jetted out of Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Bundled up practically from head-to-toe in black, Nicole was dressed to spend the holidays as comfortably as possible.

The star wore a fluffy black jacket, sweatshirt, leggings, and sneakers as she strode ahead inside the transport hub with hardly a scrap of makeup on her face.

Carrying an armful of plush toys, Nicole looked every bit the doting mother as she held her son's hand.

Her wavy tresses scraped back into a no-fuss 'do, the star opted to go makeup free while accessorizing with a large pair of sunglasses.

So in love: Nicole and Joel have been married since 2010, and have recently celebrated their six year wedding anniversary

Harlow will be celebrating her ninth birthday on January 11.

Nicole and Joel have been married since 2010, and recently they celebrated their six year wedding anniversary.

Joel is in double-act called The Madden Brothers with his twin brother Joel Madden.

They've also founded the band Good Charlotte, of which Benji is the lead guitarist and Joel the lead singer.

Meanwhile, Nicole's dad Lionel Richie recently announced he was embarking on a world tour with Mariah Carey.

The singers announced Monday they are joining forces for the All The Hits Tour, which kicks off in Baltimore on March 15, 2017.
