Their family unit is a famously close one, despite their father's fiery reputation.

So it was no surprise to the Ramsay clan, including Gordon, 50, getting into the festive spirit during their Christmas break in the Maldives, on Monday.

In the snap, taken by 15-year-old Tilly, the whole family can be seen beaming as they enjoy a night on the beach in their pyjamas - with the girls and boys rocking matching looks.

Uploading the snap to her Instagram account, Tilly - Gordon and wife Tana's middle daughter - revealed her family's fun streak.

Cosying up together on the sand at night, Gordon, Tana, twins Jack and Holly, 16, Tilly and 18-year-old Megan can be seen posing in their pjs.

All the girls including Tana are dressed in red tops and black pyjama bottoms with white polka dot spots.

Matilda - a budding culinary star herself - has been keeping her 124,000 followers up-to-date with the Ramsay's fun in the sun - sharing a number of photos.

In another snap from her holiday collection, the family can all be seen laughing as they pose for another group photo in a miniature car.

The Ramsay's are currently enjoying a break in the sun alongside family friends, the Beckhams.

Sharing a snap of the twins on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Gordon wrote: 'Twins with big smiles on their faces because this saturday they can officially drive..... 17 on NYE can't wait to teach them to drive.'
