'Five blood transfusions...it ain't nothing': Nick Cannon is back in the studio after spending two weeks in the hospital for Lupus complications

Nick Cannon has been sent home from the hospital after a two-week stay and 'five blood transfusions' from Lupus complications.

The 36-year-old television personality shared his recovery with Instagram fans on Thursday as he posted a motivational video from his studio.

He told his followers: 'See where I'm at? I'm in the studio. Straight from the hospital bed to the studio, getting it in...Five blood transfusions, what? Naw, it ain't nothing.'

The America's Got Talent Host checked himself in two weeks ago at Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills, California and spent Christmas at the hospital.

But Nick was upbeat upon his return, just before New Year's Eve, as he wrote in the caption: 'I broke out that joint!!!! Stuffed some pillows under the covers and ran out like the little rascals!! LOL.'

The ex-husband of Mariah Carey even quoted a passage from the Bible writing: 'Isaiah 54:17 "No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper."'

Nick - who appeared adamant on moving past the hospital scare saying 'no pity party' - also spoke about the new things on the horizon for 2017 such as new music, a Showtime series, more stand-up and a new film.

The father-of-two, who is expecting a baby boy with ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell, also took to Instagram on Wednesday with another positive message.

'I'm sitting here just getting stronger,' he said from the hospital bed. 'Iron Man strong, Incredible Hulk type strong.'

Adding: 'Thank you for all the love, care and prayers. Lets Go!! We are all Ncredible!!!'

While his ex-wife was on vacation in Aspen, Colarado with his kids Monroe, 5, and Moroccan, 5, he was lucky enough to have good friends visit him.

Comedian Kevin Hart stopped by along with 84-year-old critic and civil rights activist Dick Gregory.

The 37-year-old actor wrote on his Instagram: 'So happy to see my brother @nickcannon getting back to himself. Nothing but love for you man..... #GetWellNick #Ncredible.'
