So a girls' trip to Dubai would surely not go amiss for single lady Kate Wright, who Snapchatted from the sun-soaked holiday destination on Thursday.

Celebrating the first day of her holiday, TOWIE star Kate already seemed to be kicking back since she was seen sipping on cocktails in a neon bikini while the group prepare for New Year's celebrations abroad.

Kate teamed a plunging halterneck bikini top with a summer skirt and shades, as she hinted to fans that the first stop on the holiday had been the beach bar.

The blonde bombshell has jetted to the United Arab Emirates with co-star Amber Dowding.

Having seemingly forgiven ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar in the Christmas finale of TOWIE recently, Kate seemed to turning to girlfriends to keep her company when she rings in 2017, this weekend.

Kate first hit screens as co-star Dan's girlfriend before a devastating split earlier this year.

Of their current relationship status, Kate recently told MailOnline: 'Dan and I are on civil terms. I was seeing someone but I'm single now.

'I feel like I've just given up on men. I've just moved into my own place and I'm feeling like an independent woman at the moment. I'm not looking for anyone at the moment.'

Later, speaking about her hot holiday plans with OK!, Kate explained that she always tries something new to combat her Christmas loneliness.

'It’s quite hard being an only child on Christmas day,' she told the magazine. 'When everyone’s got their family around them it can get quite lonely.'

The reality TV star said that she tends to spend the festive period with her best friend, reserving no mention for her on-again/off-again beau Dan.

Kate won't be short of company at the stroke of midnight on December 31, after snapping the eight-piece 'DUBS crew' ahead of their wild weekend.

An outbound Amber even tweeted from Heathrow Airport to prove that she was raring to go.

Speaking to MailOnline last week, Kate indicated that she was bikini-body ready for the sun-soaked trip and revealed that holiday isn't even respite for her gruelling workouts.

On her diminutive waist, Kate explained: 'My waist goes up and down but I don't know what happened there - I think God just gave me a small waist…

'I feel really rubbish if I don't go to the gym, I've gone to the gym since I was 14. I used to go before school with my mum when I was 14, I've always been sporty.

'It doesn't feel right if I don't go to the gym. Even if I'm on holiday I'll go so even if I don't go I feel groggy.'
