'The only voice I heard every night is you': Mariah Carey is moved to tears by superfan who tells her he can't sleep without listening to her songs

There's no doubt Mariah Carey has some of the most devoted fans in the world. 

In a preview from Sunday's Mariah's World, the songstress meets a superfan who tells her how much she has impacted his life, leaving her moved to tears.

'I learned almost English because I repeat your letters,' the fan tells Mariah, 46, backstage at one of her concerts in a clip provided by E!.

'And when I have panic attacks when someone shout at me or something, if I don't hear Through the Rain I cannot go to sleep because in those ten years, I learned all the words.

'The only voice I heard every night is you. I don't know if you understand what you mean, what you are from us' the man tells a stunned Mariah in broken English.

Then, in an incredibly touching gesture, Mariah's fan gives her his diamond cross pendant necklace.

'You can take it, I give it to you' he says as he removes it from around his neck.

Emotional moment: The meet and greet obviously meant a huge amount to the fan who told Mariah that she helped him cope with panic attacks

'I feel so bad to take the diamond from you', Mariah replies, hesitant to take it at first but she eventually does and carries it with her onto her tour bus as she tries to process what just happened.

'He's making me cry, I gotta go' she tells her dancer and now boyfriend Bryan Tanaka.

Meanwhile, Mariah has been staying in a luxury $22million mansion for her annual trip to Aspen, courtesy of Airbnb.
