Kate Moss reveals fond memories of neighbour George Michael letting her daughter Lila sneak into his pool in interview before his shock death  

Just days before George Michael's sudden death, his friend and neighbour Kate Moss revealed she had a secret route into the singer's North London garden.

Speaking as she co-hosted a special hour-long BBC Radio 6 show with Shaun Keaveny, the model, 42, said: 'He’s got a pool, so when it’s hot I’m like, "Oh can Lila come and jump in your pool?" And he’s like, "Yeah, come over".

'And we can actually climb from garden to garden over the walls with a ladder, we’ve done that a couple of times.'

Meanwhile, Popstars including Elton John, Bob Geldof and Mariah Carey are considering plans to hold a memorial concert for George, it was reported on Wednesday.

A host of the Wham! singer's friends in the music industry are looking at teaming up for a charity event aimed at raising money for the causes George supported during his life.

Sir Elton and Geldof performed alongside Michael in the Live Aid event, which raised millions for famine relief in Africa in 1985.

Though not on the same scale, it is said star's friends want to give him a good 'send off' and pay tribute to him as a performer and artist.

Fellow Wham! star Andrew Ridgeley and Aretha Franklin are also reportedly interested in taking part.

A source told The Sun: 'It's early stages yet... it's likely to be in the form of a memorial concert and to raise money for the causes close to George's heart including nurses and LBGT rights.'

The scale of the late singer's generosity only truly emerged following his shock death on Christmas Day, when charities paid tribute to him and a number of people who he had secretly helped came forward.

The star donated royalties from some of his biggest selling singles and has made huge donations to Childline, the Terrence Higgins Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support.

After Michael's death on Sunday, Sir Elton, 69, said he was 'in deep shock', adding: 'I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist'.

Geldof said Michael was 'great, clever and brilliantly talented'.

Boy George tweeted: 'I am thinking of @GeorgeMichael's family, friends and fans right now. He was so loved and I hope he knew it because the sadness today is beyond words. Devastating.

'What a beautiful voice he had and his music will live on as a testament to his talent. I can't believe he is gone. I hope the Buddha will hold him in his arms.'
