This weekend, May 20-22, roller coaster enthusiasts from across the country and Canada will convene upon Kings Island for the 2016 Coasterstock event. Based on the 8 reasons Kings Island's Coasterstock is the must attend event of the spring, the three days will be packed full of exclusive ride times (ERT), tours, FUN, and of course food.
So what do we all have to be excited about for our catered Coasterstock meals? Based on "rave reviews" from last year’s event, we will be served a wide variety of pork, beef, and chicken ribs. Among those being offered are boiled ribs, grilled ribs, steamed ribs, pressure cooked ribs, smoked ribs, and rotisserie ribs. Along with an assortment of sauces, sides, dental floss, and toothpicks, the ribs will be sure to leave guests yearning for more.
Truth be told, the ribs will not be the joke of the event this year. Fortunately, the 2016 Coasterstock meals have a large assortment of options to cater to a wide variety of tastes.
The menu for dinner on May 21 is:
• Pulled Pork
• Chicken Quarters
• Corn on the Cob
• Mashed Potatoes
• Green Beans
The menu for Lunch on May 22 is:
• Grilled Hamburgers
• Hot Dogs
• Baked Beans
• Pasta Salad
Look for us on your next visit to Kings Island. If you do not meet us in line for The Beast, you will likely find us sampling the new German food at the Kings Island Bier Garten or trying to set the world record for the most pounds of fudge eaten in a serving at the Sweet Spot.
