Muscle man! Chris Hemsworth shows off his superhero-like strength as he poses with one twin in each arm for a heartwarming picture

He's known for playing Thor on the big screen. 

And Chris Hemsworth showed he's just as burly and strong as his character on Friday in an adorable Instagram picture posted by his wife, Elsa Pataky. 

The 33-year-old was seen holding his twin sons, one in each arm as he stood in what appeared to be a park.

Tristan and Sasha, both two, appeared to be resting on their father as he held them nonchalantly. 

One child, dressed in a green jumper, black pants and black converse was seen rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand.

The other faced away from the camera, dressed in purple camouflage print pants paired with a bat-print jumper. 

He was seen holding on to Chris' shirt as he peered over the actor's shoulder to see what was happening behind him.

Chris cut a hulking figure in a fitted black shirt, which he paired with rounded sunglasses and a black cap. 

Proud mother Elsa shared the photo with her social media following, and captioned the sweet image: 'My boys'.

In September, the 40-year-old told The Daily Telegraph the couple's decision to move to Australia to raise their children.

Elsa said while Los Angeles was a great place to be, she didn't see it as a good place to raise her family.  

'I liked living and working in Los Angeles but I feel now the most important thing for me is being a mum and having a family,' she said.

'And it doesn't fit there in Los Angeles.

'I wanted my kids to lead a life I dreamt of and be surrounded by animals and nature. I feel like this is the best place to give that to them.'
