While most stars were being entertained for the New Year, others were doing the entertaining.

Cruz Beckham proved he was a little star in the making, taking to the stage as the clock struck midnight on Saturday, cheered on by David and the whole family as they enjoyed a holiday in the Maldives.

David shared a rare snap of Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, posing for a snap as they enjoyed a glamorous beach party.

While Victoria upped the glamour in a floor-length chic red dress, David looked suave in a crisp white shirt and beige slacks. 

Towering over his mum and almost matching his famous father's height was Brooklyn, 17, dressed in a tropical print shirt.  

Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11,  and Harper huddled together, with the little girl looking adorable in a yellow maxi dress.

'Happy new year everyone', David captioned the snap before adding a video of Cruz taking to the stage cheered on by party revellers. 

'This is how we started 2017!' he wrote alongside the video, which showed Cruz performing confidently to a dancing crowd.

The family have been enjoying a sun-soaked holiday in the Maldives with celebrity pals Gordon and Tana Ramsay and their children. 

Earlier in the day Megan Ramsay, 18, shared a snap as she posed with Cruz.

And a whole host of celebrities took to Instagram to share their festivities.
