Maksim Chmerkovskiy posts photo of pregnant fiancee Peta Murgatroyd touching up makeup in hospital gown as she prepares to give birth

They're due to welcome their first child this month.  

And it seems as if the wait is over for Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. 

Maksim, 36, took to Instagram on Monday morning to share a photo of his pregnant fiancee, 30, touching up her makeup as she laid on a hospital bed.

'But first...a little make up,' Maksim captioned the image.

Peta had her blonde hair piled up into a messy 'do as she applied her mascara on, with her open purse sitting next to her on bed.

Let's get this show on the road: The day started off early for Maksim, who posted a video to Instagram at five in the morning as they sped down an empty street, perhaps towards the hospital

Hours earlier, Maksim posted an Instagram video taken from the front seat of a car as it hurriedly drove down an empty road at night.  

The video appeared to have been of Maksim as he drove his fiancee to the hospital.

Maksim and Peta are expecting their first child together, a baby boy.

A DWTS cast member since 2011, Peta has enjoyed a prolific dancing career that has even included Broadway. 

Maksim competed as a professional dancer for fifteen seasons of Dancing With The Stars, but had a hiatus for a few seasons.

The two of them have been dating on and off since 2012 and got engaged in 2015.

Their wedding is planned for this summer.  

'I can't wait to provide this baby with the tools to become a beautiful, kind person,' Maksim raved to People back in June. 

'I'm looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world,' his wife-to-be added. 

'I'm looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul.'
