Victims of the Istanbul nightclub slaughter included the daughter of a prominent Lebanese businessman, an Indian fashion designer and a Bollywood director. As grieving relatives arrived in Turkey to take away their dead, just one of the 39 bodies remained unidentified this morning after police worked through the night with families of the deceased. It comes as ISIS claimed one of its 'soldiers' carried out the atrocity and as Turkish police moved in on two locations near Istanbul in the hunt for the lone attacker. Among the dead were Abis Rizvi (bottom right), 49, a Mumbai Bollywood producer who was in the midst of making his second film, and Khushi Shah (left), a fashion designer in her 20s from Vadodara, a city in the western Indian state of Gujarat. The victims also included Rita Sami (top right, 26, daughter of Ilyas Schami, a prominent Lebanese businessman.

New Zealand police said the 42-year-old foreign national was arrested on arrival before being referred to immigration. 'I'm not yelling at you - but do you want me to f****** yell?' the man says in a video filmed by one of the passengers during the flight.

A writer who slammed Donald Trump in a biography more than 20 years ago claims he was kicked off a golf course by the president-elect last week because he was still upset at his treatment in the book. Harry Hurt III, who wrote the 1993 book, 'Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump,' detailed his fiery Florida run-in with Trump last week. Hurt accused Trump of booting him and his party - including billionaire Republican mega-donor David Koch - from the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach after he wandered over to congratulate him on the election win. 'I went up to him in the spirit of the United States of America and said, 'Congratulations, sir'. And then he launched into a diatribe that I had been rough on him, he used an expletive to describe the content of my book,' Hurt said.

Comedian Rosie O'Donnell called Donald Trump 'mentally unstable' in a tweet (inset) on Sunday and warned America that they are running out of time to stop him. 'Donald Trump is mentally unstable,' O'Donnell wrote on Twitter while sharing a link to a CNN article. O'Donnell, who constantly retweets quotes against the leadership of Trump, added that there are 'less than 3 weeks to stop him America'. The O'Donnell-Trump feud, which has been on and off for the past 10 years, was resurrected during the first presidential debate, as O'Donnell declared her support for Hillary Clinton. And earlier this month, the comedian wrote a powerful poem called One Week about the current state of America. O'Donnell published the poem on December 12, detailing her thoughts and emotions in the wake of the election of Trump.

The video shows him deliberating for a while, before he decides to take a running leap, but as he comes towards the pool's edge he makes a terrified noise as he realises he isn't going to make it. He lands feet down on the pool's edge and face-down in the pool. Remarkably he's able to swim well enough to get to the steps and haul himself out where he lies in agony before being taken to hospital.

This woman was so overcome with emotion when her boyfriend proposed to her at a gig that she fell off the stage. Jeff Jackson asked DJ Crizzly if he could steal the mic for a moment during his set in Texas. He then invited his scantily-clad girlfriend Endyugi Soedarsono to join him on the stage. Disturbing images of a massive python strangling and consuming a wallaby whole have emerged. Bernie Worsford came upon the python feeding in Kuranda, in Far North Queensland, and whipped out his camera as it slowly swallowed the helpless marsupial. The python can be seen wrapping its scaly body around the wallaby - forcibly squeezing the last bit of air from its lungs - as a horse stands over it and watches on.

This year, the competition - which has been running since 2008 - received almost 9,000 entries from over 700 photographers in more than 45 different countries.

A ghost like figure has been captured by CCTV cameras creeping up behind two people as they walked home. The footage in a Spanish-speaking country shows a seemingly floating white spectre gliding closely behind the pair as they walked along their drive way. The family say they set up the security cameras as they felt a 'demonic or ghostly' presence in their lives and wanted to see if they were in fact being haunted.  And now they say the video is proof of their claims.

It was a time when spiritualism was hugely popular and there was a mystique surrounding photography's process. And British photographer William Hope made the most of a 1920s society that yearned to learn more about the paranormal to produce this striking set of 'spirit photographs' which had the world captivated at the time. Mr Hope - who was part of the infamous Crewe Circle, a spiritualist photography group in the English town - was supported by many of his contemporaries including Sherlock Holmes author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. But his work was later discredited after investigators discovered that he had used a photographic process called double exposure, where a single image is created by exposing the film several times.
