Jason Biggs woke up with a sore head on New Year's Day, but it wasn't from a hangover.

The American Pie star shared a snap of a black eye on Instagram, given to him by his toddler son, Sid.

'Sid thought it'd be nice if I started 2017 off with a black eye. #toddlerheadbutt,' wrote the star.

Jason, dressed in a long-sleeve, black shirt and beanie, showed off a purple and blue bruise.

His two-year-old was pictured in the background, walking in the opposite direction of his actor father.
