'He's an outsider in every way': Ryan Reynolds says he's game for Deadpool to have a boyfriend in sequel to Golden Globe-nominated hit

Ryan Reynolds is looking forward to reprising his comic book role as Deadpool in an upcoming sequel to his blockbuster hit.

And the Canadian actor revealed to Variety he'd be open for the pansexual character to possibly have a male love interest in a future outing.

'What love is to Deadpool may not be what love is to Batman or someone else,' he told the trade publication. 'I think that could be played up more. He’s an outsider in every way, shape, and form.'

'Deadpool is so feminine,' the 40-year-old added. 'At least in how I saw him.'

In fact he said he had trouble persuading his stunt doubles to stop being so macho, and sashay more and swagger less.

The movie made for $58 million budget made $783 million worldwide and catapulted Reynolds back to the top of Hollywood's A-list.
