Hard to miss: Glamorous girls Caprice, Vogue Williams (L) and Lydia Bright (R) ensured they could not be missed on the slopes in an array of vibrant ensembles

The stars of this year's series looked ready and raring to go as they hit the snow in their salopettes and helmets, having landed in Austria for training last week.

Leading the pack was model and lingerie designer Caprice, who maintained her usually girly and glamorous style in her ski wear by opting for bright pink trousers.

The 45-year-old certainly stood out from her white backdrop in the magenta strides, which she paired with a more toned-down black quilted jacket.

Raring to go: Sporting her eyewear atop her helmet as she carried her skis, the famous beauty was seen showing off both a glowing complexion and a steely look of determination

Anxious: The lingerie designer looked somewhat nervous about the task at hand as she watched the demonstrations

Looking the part: However later pulling her goggles down and donning her ski poles in hand, the blonde beauty looked every inch the professional as she practiced some beginners' moves

Thrill seeker: Caprice appears to be something of an adrenaline junkie, having also competed in ITV diving reality show Splash! in 2013

Good idea:Wanting to protect her glowing skin, the beauty was seen applying sun block before she blew her nose - perhaps attempting to fight off any illness before the show kicks off

The Irish beauty stood out just as much in her green salopettes, which co-ordinated with her neon jumper poking out of her coat.

Wanting to protect her glowing skin, the beauty was seen applying sun block before she dabbed at her heavily made-up face and blew her nose with a tissue - attempting to fight off any illness before the show fully kicks off.

She really is Bright! The model happily chatted to another fellow contestant - TOWIE's Lydia Bright, who attempted the colour block trend in a clashing jacket and trousers combo

However after making full preparation Vogue was seen laughing and animatedly chatting with her contestants - exuding her excitement at learning the famously dangerous sport.

Vogue had revealed her enthusiasm when she was first announced for the show, admitting: 'I love winter sports, so I can't wait to put my ski boots on and hit the Austrian slopes.'

Lydia was seen receiving help adjusting her jacket by fellow contestant Robbie Fowler - perhaps making sure she was safely equipped for the day after suffering a nasty fall earlier this week.

On Tuesday the reality star took the snow face-on when she fell head first down a run during one of her practice sessions.

However while the fall appeared to be serious, with snow spraying everywhere and her rolling down the slope multiple times, Lydia appears to have come out unscathed as she joined her contestants for filming.

I got sunshine on a cloudy day: Adding to the rainbow on the slopes was Olympic cyclist Bradley Wiggins - who rocked a bold yellow coat as he joined the team

Adding to the rainbow on the slopes was Olympic cyclist Bradley Wiggins - who rocked a bold yellow coat as he joined the team.

The star looked in good spirits as he checked his phone and chatted with the trainers, despite being advised not to participate by fellow Olympian Louise Hazel.

She told the Daily Star: ‘As an athlete you are always looking for the next thrill, but I would advise him to withdraw.

Not bothered: However, Wiggins did not appear fazed by the concerns as he happily took to the Austrian mountains

Going for it: Bradley was the last celebrity to announce he was appearing on the show, confessing that 'skiing is a big passion' of his

'As a participant you know there is an element of risk, but there was a part of me seeking that out and it is a calculated risk.

‘The question is whether people know the full extent of the risk before signing up.’

However, Wiggins did not appear fazed by the concerns as he announced his appearance, less than a month after his retirement from professional cycling.

Revealing his decision to compete on the show, he said: ‘Skiing is a big passion of mine, it was a mix of that and the other committed names this year that made me want to sign up.

In it to win it: The cyclist then added: 'I see this as a sporting challenge and want to go out there and win it'

Unlucky: Meanwhile Josie Gibson (above) did not appear in such good spirits as the rest of her contestants, as she suffered a painful accident which sent her flying to the ground

'From [rugby player] Jason Robinson and [footballer] Robbie Fowler to Olympians Louis Smith and Jade Jones, these guys have excelled in the sporting arena and I have a lot of respect for them, they will be so competitive.

‘Major retiring Olympians such as Sir Steve Redgrave have also trodden this path, I see this as a sporting challenge and want to go out there and win it.'

Dressed in a chic pink jacket and grey trouser combo, the TV personality at first took to the snowy conditions with ease - but soon began to lose control of her speed, causing her to slip and fall onto her side.

Beaming like a child as he hit the slopes was Made in Chelsea hunk Spencer Matthews.

The reality star looked more than excited to get out there and try his hand at The Air Jump or The Ski Jump, despite recently admitting he has no ski experience whatsoever and is more prone to a sun-soaked getaway.

Cheeky chappie: The Chelsea lad looked incredibly excited to be learning the skill - despite admitting on This Morning last month that he has no ski experience whatsoever

Spencer appeared to strike up a friendship with former X Factor contestant Jake Quickenden, as they were seen fooling around together on the slopes - constantly laughing as they played up to the cameras.

Meanwhile notoriously competitive Olympian Louis Smith got his game face on as he anxiously awaited his time with the trainer.

Keeping warm in a thick blue puffer jacket, the 27-year-old constantly checked his watch as he awaited his time on the slopes, before he was seen taking to the snow with ease.

The Jump is set to premiere on Channel 4 on Sunday February 5, and will once again be hosted by Davina McCall.

While many fans are excited for its return, others are concerned about the welfare of the next set of celebrities - after endless stars from last series suffered horrific injuries from learning the skill of various winter sports.

Gymnast Beth Tweddle, 31, needed surgery to fix a fractured vertebrae, while reality star Mark-Francis Vandelli, 26, suffered a fractured ankle during a live event and was forced to withdraw from the show after heading to hospital.

Double Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington, 26, also withdrew from the show on medical advice after she dislocated her shoulder mid-jump in the show's titular event.

Holby City actress Tina Hobley, 44, also headed for the exit after she dislocated her elbow and suffered two fractures to her arm.

Red-dy to go: Footballer Robbie Fowler appeared to struggle slightly as he pulled himself across the mountain

Like ducks to water: Meanwhile comedian Mark Dolan (L) and rugby star Gareth Thomas (R) seem to have worked hard as they effortlessly glided across the snow

Impressed: Rugby star Jason Robinson appeared impressed by his fellow contestants as he kept an eagle eye on at their improvements

Yet keen to make a change this year, sources reported to The Sun that much of the series content was being pre-filmed to help ensure the celebrities' safety.

Speaking to the publication, the source said: 'The producers don’t want to risk anything this year and pre-recording most stuff makes it a lot easier. There have been a few injuries on camera in the past — not just in training — so they want to avoid those situations...

'It also means the celebs won’t take bigger risks as the adrenaline won’t be pumping like it does on the live shows.'

However host Davina admitted that while she was surprised the show is making a comeback in light of the injuries, she is very excited to see what the next group of celebrities have in store.

She explained: 'I was amazed [it was renewed] because I didn't think we'd be able to get people back on it, but apparently people still want to do the show which is great. They're amazing.'

Bringing up the rear: Taking to the slopes later on was Kadeena Cox (L) and rugby star Jason Robinson (R)

Chilling out: Meanwhile Emma Parker Bowles took in the views as she enjoyed a break from the sporting activities
