Where's Boomer? Michael Phelps and wife Nicole enjoy courtside date night watching LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers

  • The happy couple were spotted courtside as Cleveland took on Phoenix
  • Olympian and former Miss California laughed as the NBA teams battled it out
  • They managed to sneak away from eight-month-old son Boomer

Michael Phelps and his beauty queen wife Nicole recently had what many new parents long to have - a date night out.

Phelps, 31, and the Miss California 2010, also 31, were spotted having some laughs courtside at the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns game in Phoenix on Sunday.

The happy pair were spotted grinning and holding on to each other as they managed to slip out for a bit from parenting duties.

Their son, Boomer Robert, is eight months old.

Most medaled Olympian, Michael Phelps, and wife Nicole shared a laugh at the Cavs game - the two had a rocky road to marriage but now look very fulfilled

The genetically blessed pair caught a glimpse of themselves in the overhead screen

The couple secretly tied the knot on June 13 before their official October 29 wedding in Cabo San Lucas. Boomer is already taking - what else? - swimming lessons.

Boomer's dad is the most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 28 medals.

The pair had dated on and off for nine years before they got married - and Phelps once told USA Today during an off period, 'I said to a couple of my friends if I ever had the chance to get her back, that would be it. She was the one I loved the most.'

Phelps stood to make celebrate something interesting happening on court - the Cavs won 120-116

Son Boomer, eight months, is not only already taking swimming lessons, but apparently is being introduced to headphones - what was being piped into them in unclear

The couple, who dated on and off since 2007, were secretly married in May but then had an official wedding in Cabo San Lucas on October 29
