Brooke Frecklington is reeling in the social media followers with her fishing clips.

The former model, who was crowned Australasian Penthouse Pet of the Year in 2004, is so passionate about fishing she hopes to make a living hosting her own fishing show.

'When I caught my first big fish, I was hooked straight away,' Ms Frecklington told the Courier-Mail.

'I’d like to have my own TV show which would be a great way to make money doing something that I already love,' Ms Frecklington said

The Gold Coast angler said she discovered fishing after her former hobby, drag racing, became too expensive.

'A lot of guys have said they’re amazed that I’m into car racing and fishing,' she told the Courier-Mail. 'They say I’m pretty much the perfect woman.'

Ms Frecklington can be seen catching pink snappers, Spanish mackerel, and yellowtail kingfish on her social media account Hooked on Brooke.
