It may have been an afternoon tea party but Hailee Steinfeld dressed as if she was ready for bed.

The actress, 20, showed up to the annual BAFTA-LA pre-Golden Globes bash on Saturday wearing something akin to an aquamarine negligee.

The long-sleeved number with its thigh-skimming hem barely covered her pert derriere showing off plenty of bare leg.

Her sandal heels also featured silver decor.

She wore her long hair tied back into a messy semi-ponytail with strands left to fall around her face.

Hailee has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for her work in The Edge Of Seventeen.

Other nominees in her category include Annette Bening, Lily Collins, Emma Stone and Meryl Streep.

The awards show takes place Sunday in Beverly Hills.
