Out of this world! Emma Stone looked every inch the stellar movie goddess in a star-embellished gown at the 74th Golden Globe Awards on Sunday

The actress showcased her cleavage in the Valentino gown, picked for her by stylist Petra Flannery.

She kept the sophisticated side up with the addition of a Tiffany drop choker.

Her trademark auburn tresses were styled in a side parting, with bangs swept across her pretty face and flashing her $10,500 platinum diamond Tiffany stud earrings.

Reach for the stars in a Valentino gown like Emma's

Emma Stone looks la la lovely as per usual on the Golden Globes red carpet.

She opted for a custom made Valentino number that quite literally matched her brilliant star-power with its shiny cosmo embellishments throughout.

We love the delicate straps and plunging neckline done in soft pink pleats for a look that is ladylike, feminine and sexy all at once.

The gossamer thin fabric is dreamy and swoon worthy which is why we think Emma Stone might be in top running for our red carpet favorite.

Sadly, her dress was a bespoke piece by the Italian designer so we won't be able to get our hands on the exact one. That's why we've rounded up the next best thing in our edit below. From Needle & Thread to Alexis and Adrianna Papell, we've got all budgets covered!

Ahead of walking the red carpet she seemed to be having fun in the makeup chair, as she tried out a different beauty technique thanks to makeup artist Rachel Goodwin.

Goodwin shared a funny snap of the star, who is nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role in La La Land, and captioned it: 'Some say beauty is pain, others say it just ridiculous! And so is prepping for the #goldenglobes with this hilarious human being!'

The beauty was the first presenter of the night, alongside co-star Ryan Gosling.

And Emma herself scored her third Golden Globe nomination for her role as aspiring actress Mia in Damien Chazelle's romantic musical La La Land.

La La Land, indie grief drama Manchester by the Sea, and black coming-of-age film Moonlight are leading the awards buzz in a season that has been dominated by escapist fantasy and gritty drama in equal measure.

La La Land looks set to sweep the board as it picked up a staggering seven Golden Globe nominations.

Front runner! Her movie La La Land with Ryan Gosling channels old style Hollywood musicals

Last year was marked by soul-searching in Hollywood over movie representations - or lack of them - of people of color and their stories.

That has all changed with contenders like Moonlight, Hidden Figures, Fences, and Loving.

In television, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story leads the way with five nominations.

AMC crime drama The Night Manager will be close behind, with four nominations, while Black-ish, The Crown, The Night Of, This is Us and Westworld have three each.

The nominees are split by genre within the TV and film categories and the outcome is seen as a predictor of how the Academy Awards might go in February.

The Golden Globes ranks as the third most-watched annual awards show, behind only the Oscars and the Grammys.

The winners are chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and are known for springing surprises, its members have no say in choosing the Oscars.
