Naomie Harris oozes elegance in a plunging metallic corset-style gown as she showcases her curves at the Golden Globe Awards

She is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Moonlight- which she played in just three days.

And Naomie Harris showcased her sensational figure as she hit the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards in LA on Sunday.

The 40-year-old British actress posed up a storm in the figure-hugging gown.

Nominee: Naomie Harris showcased her sensational figure as she hit the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards in LA on Sunday

The Bond star made the most of her slender midriff in the slinky metallic  piece, which was embellished with delicate embroidery.

Flashing a hint of cleavage in the plunging piece, it framed her endless legs perfectly.

And wearing her hair in a side parting with tousled waves, she flashed her diamond drop earrings as the natural beauty posed for pictures.

Filmed in just three days: She plays Paula, a drug-fuelled, single mother struggling to raise her son Chiron in a rough neighbourhood of Miami in six-time nominated drama Moonlight

Moonlight has received a jaw-dropping six nominations, including Best Drama Motion Picture, Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture (Mahershala Ali), Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture (Naomie), Best Director and Best Screenplay of A Motion Picture (Barry Jenkins), and Best Original Score (Nicholas Britell).

Naomie Harris had just three days to play what has turned out to be the role of her career: Paula, a drug-fuelled, single mother struggling to raise her son Chiron in a rough neighbourhood of Miami in Moonlight.

For Naomie, who neither drinks nor smokes, that meant resorting to YouTube. ‘It’s an important aid for an actor,’ she told MailOnline. ‘I watched videos of people addicted to drugs.’

La La Land nominees: Stone and Gosling may be tap-dancing away in the best tradition of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, but those slightly fragile-sounding voices ensure they’re believable as a couple

There was no time to work with the other actors when she arrived on set.

‘I got there and the cameras started rolling. Over the course of three days I aged 15 years. It was a combination of make-up, wigs and a change in physicality,’ she says.

‘We had to cram in so much that I probably felt 15 years older!’

Musical La La Land, indie grief drama Manchester by the Sea, and black coming-of-age film Moonlight are leading the awards buzz in a season that has been dominated by escapist fantasy and gritty drama in equal measure.

Nominees: Underpinning its considerable appeal are two wonderful performances, from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, both deservedly nominated for top acting honours

In television, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story leads the way with five nominations.

AMC crime drama The Night Manager will be close behind, with four nominations, while Black-ish, The Crown, The Night Of, This is Us and Westworld have three each.

The nominees are split by genre within the TV and film categories and the outcome is seen as a predictor of how the Academy Awards might go in February.

The Golden Globes ranks as the third most-watched annual awards show, behind only the Oscars and the Grammys.

The winners are chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and are known for springing surprises, its members have no say in choosing the Oscars.
