But despite the glitz and glamour of one of Hollywood's most famous party nights, it seems Vanessa Hudgens was still missing more simple pleasures.

The High School musical actress posted an Instagram video on Tuesday of herself and sister Stella on their recent holiday to Mexico, alongside the caption: 'Missin' this sister trip to Mexico w/ my [heart emoji] @stellahudgens.'

The video featured Vanessa and her younger sister blowing kisses to the camera while on a Mexican beach.

Both sporting straw hats and sunglasses, the siblings showed off their slim figures in slinky swimsuits.

Vanessa, 28, sported a plunging dusky pink swimsuit teamed with a dainty gold necklace and a cluster of rings.

The Grease: Live starlet will next be back on the small screen to play insurance claims adjuster Emily Locke in the DC Comics superhero sitcom Powerless, which premieres February 2 on NBC.
