Supporters stomped on the bleachers set up behind him and members of the crowd shouted 'four more years' over a disruption. 'My fellow Americans,' Obama said to cheers, 'Michelle and I have been so touched by all the well-wishes we've received over the past few weeks.' Every day, I learned from you. You made me a better President, and you made me a better man.' The exiting president told his supporters 'you were the change' and thanked the country for keeping him honest. He welled up during the 50-minute speech and Malia and his VP Joe Biden also shed some tears.

'I have every D-list comedian on Twitter going after me because I thought it was completely inappropriate last night,' said McCain. She went on to call Streep 'sanctimonious' and state her belief that 'the lecturing of celebrities helped Elect Donald Trump. Hollywood, if you don't take a look, you're going to usher him in for a second term real quick,' said McCain, who then referred to Streep and others who had taken issue with her tweet as 'snowflake liberals.'

Charlie Sheen (left) opened up about his life in the year since he publicly announced he was HIV-positive in an interview that aired Wednesday. 'I feel really good. I am so grateful,' said Sheen. A yacht builder has turned back the clock with this stylish superyacht - built entirely out of wood. The one-off custom build Aquarius looks similar to other mega-yachts on the market, but instead of being built from steel and aluminium it is constructed from wood. The 147ft long, triple decker yacht's internal frames and beams are sapelli and mahogany, while the rest of the boat is made out of plywood. The outer shell has been laminated and painted. Carmel Munro, from Vinifera, Australia, walked into her garden shed on January 9 to find a female redback spider battling a snake that it had caught in its web. Despite tossing and turning the large snake cannot shake itself free as the spider approaches to inject its venom.

The Snapchat story shows the employees also around with the dough and laughing. These airport ground staff found an innovative way of defrosting a plane when they found its wings had iced over. The two men, dressed in high-vis jackets, leaned a ladder up against the side of the Turkish Airlines plane and climbed up to the wing with a huge bottle of water. The pair tried to pour the water over the wing, which was glistening with ice, but soon realised they would not be able to reach the reach the whole thing from where they stood. In an ingenious, but rather haphazard move, one of the men then decided to simply roll the huge bottle of water towards that body of the plane, so that water poured over the wing as it went.
