And Hollywood icon Will Smith has observed an odd commonality among his Aussie co-stars - they rarely cry.
During an interview that aired on Tuesday's edition of The Project, the Collateral Beauty star said Margot Robbie, Joel Edgerton and Jai Courtney rarely shed tears.
'In the last year I have gained a lot of Australian friends, Margot Robbie doesn't cry a lot ... I've noticed that,' he said.
'I'm working with Joel Edgerton now. He told me he doesn't cry. Jai Courtney ... I think it might be an [Aussie] thing.'
Will, 48, starred alongside Margot, 26, in Focus and Suicide Squad, which also features Jai, 30.

The actor will star alongside Joel, 42, in the forthcoming sci-fi flick Bright.
Last week, Loving star Joel gushed about working alongside Hollywood star Will, saying filming the upcoming fantasy movie has been 'completely awesome.'
The actors spent time with the LAPD and sheriff's department as part of research for their roles as cops in the upcoming blockbuster.

Joel told The Australian that viewers can expect a thrill when the film is released later this year.
He said: 'Will Smith and I are playing LAPD cops in this hyperreal LAPD movie that also has this super-natural element to it.'
Reflecting on the research he and the Independence Day star undertook, Joel labelled it 'wild.'
He added: '[It was] a completely awesome and twisted wild experience, which has been resplendent with weird excusrsions with the LAPD and the sheriff's department into some of the gnarliest areas of LA.'
