Golden Globe winners and Night Manager co-stars Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie catch up over dinner in LA

They starred together in one of the most acclaimed dramas of 2016 and on Tuesday night Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie found time in their busy schedules to catch up over dinner. 

The British stars of The Night Manager were spotted at Jar restaurant in LA's Beverly Grove neighborhood.

The two had plenty to talk about having each won a Golden Globe Sunday for their performances in the John le Carré thriller.

Hiddleston, 35, was dressed in dark jeans with gray suede shoes and a button down charcoal jacket.

Laurie, 57, wore blue jeans and tan shoes with a brown suede jacket.

Both men are very much in demand in Hollywood.

Hiddleston has two movies coming out in 2017: Kong: Skull Island in March and Thor: Ragnarok in November. 

Laurie is busy filming the comedy adventure Holmes And Watson, with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, in London.

On Monday, Hiddleston apologized for his cringe-inducing acceptance speech after winning the best actor in a limited series or a motion picture made for television.

The star posted a message on Facebook explaining that nerves had gotten the better of him.

'I just wanted to say… I completely agree that my speech at the Golden Globes last night was inelegantly expressed,' he wrote. 'In truth, I was very nervous, and my words just came out wrong.'

He went on: 'Sincerely, my only intention was to salute the incredible bravery and courage of the men and women who work so tirelessly' for aid agencies and the hcildren of South Sudan.

Hiddleston then ended his remarks by saying: 'I apologise that my nerves got the better of me.'
