  • The Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL quarterback will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans at two paid events
  • Fans can get a selfie with Manziel ($50), a professional photograph ($99), or an autograph ($99)
  • Tickets must also be purchased to attend the event, which last for just one hour
  • Manziel, 24, was cut by the Cleveland Browns in March after a two-season career during which he played 14 games and had seven interceptions, fumbles and TDs
  • Since then he has reenrolled in school at Texas A&M and been seen partying around the country, ringing in the new year with new girlfriend Bre Tiesi

The NFL post-season is in full swing, with eight teams remaining in the hunt for a spot in the Super Bowl.

And while football fans wait to see if this year's match-up will involve Tom Brady taking on Aaron Johnson or perhaps Ben Roethlisberger going up against Dak Prescott, there comes the news that at least one quarterback has been confirmed to make an appearance in Houston next month - Johnny Manziel.

The first-round draft pick, who played a total of 14 games in his two-season career with the league, will be making an appearance on both the Thursday and Friday before the game at Stadium Signatures.

Tickets are available now for the hour-long sessions, during which fans can get a selfie with Manziel ($50), a professional photograph ($99), or an autograph ($99).

Manziel, the 2012 recipient of the Heisman Trophy, has been steadily partying across the country since losing his job in March.

These will be the first public autograph sessions for Manziel, who won the Heisman Trophy while playing for Texas A&M.

The rocket of an arm that secured him that honor had much less luck in the NFL unfortunately, where Manziel managed to throw for just seven touchdowns in his brief time with the Cleveland Browns.

He also had the same number of interceptions and fumbles.

Manziel has done private autograph sessions for profit before when he was in college, a move that is strictly prohibited and led to the NCAA suspending him after an investigation which some thought might lead to him being benched for an entire season.

In the end, Manziel was only forced to sit out the first half of the Aggies season opener in 2013.

He went on to throw for 37 touchdowns that season and finished fifth in Heisman voting, a remarkable feat as he had just been awarded the trophy a year prior and would have been the first player to twice receive that honor.

Manziel then entered the NFL draft at the age of 21 after just two seasons playing for the Aggies.

That same year he also entered the MLB draft where he was picked up in the 28th round by the San Diego Padres, though he never pursued playing in that league.

The disgraced quarterback, who had problems both on and off the field after being drafted by the Browns with the No. 22 overall pick, was waived by the team in March.

The move came as no surprise and Manziel seemed to be unfazed, having been spotted partying with friends in Los Angeles in the days before and after the news.

Manziel was only two years into his four-year contract with the Browns which was worth a reported $8.245million. Despite being cut, Manziel was still guaranteed $6.7million of that contract.

The 24-year-old also scored some of the most coveted, and lucrative, endorsement deals in the sports world after being drafted, with Nike, McDonald's, MusclePharm, and Snickers all paying up for a piece of the Heisman winner.

Manziel released a statement shortly after he was cut saying; 'I'd like to thank the Browns for the opportunity they gave me - nearly two years ago, we all hoped that we were building what could be a championship team for Cleveland.

'I will always remember the support I received from the organization, my teammates and especially the fans.'

Since then he has failed to find a spot in the NFL, and late last summer it was reveled that he was returning to school and attending his alma mater of Texas A&M once again.

He has also been spotted doing plenty of partying, popping up everywhere from the clubs of West Hollywood and Coachella to Mexico and the bars of Austin as well as Las Vegas and New York City over the past 10 months.

More recently, Manziel rang in the new year with Bre Tiesi, an attractive young Instagram model who is rumored to be his girlfriend.
