It's been little more than 24 hours since she hit the red carpet for Sunday night's Golden Globe awards.

But Joe Jonas' new girlfriend Sophie Turner was back in the British capital by Tuesday morning, tasked with announcing the 2017 BAFTA nominations live in London.

Slipping slightly over her words for the Best Original Screenplay category, the toll of a whirlwind week seemed to finally caught up with the actress.

Back in London: Sophie Turner jetted straight back into the UK to announce the 2017 BAFTA nominations on Tuesday morning

Physically, Sophie showed no signs of the jet lag and looked positively glowing when she arrive at 195 Piccadilly.

She pulled together a sartorially smart, ivy-green co-ord, which featured straight-cut trousers and a sleeveless top, to which she added heels.

Her lightened locks were pulled back into a low ponytail, fully drawing attention to her immaculate complexion.

The actress was also in a playful mood on the red carpet, where she was joined by fellow actor Dominic Cooper, who helped to present this year's nominations.

On the stage, Sophie's moment in the spotlight was marred by a slight slip of the tongue.

Miss-pronouncing the name Kenneth Lonergan, Sophie was forced to repeat herself twice but laughed off the gaffe with confidence.

Sophie can't have been in London for long, considering the swift turnaround from Golden Globes to BAFTA red carpets.

The British native can expect many more flying trips to the States in the coming weeks though, as she embarks on a transatlantic romance with Jonas Brother Joe.

The Cake By The Ocean singer and the beautiful blonde were reportedly 'making out like nobody was watching' by the swimming pool of the Beverly Hilton hotel, after Sunday's show - the awards and their winners seemingly far from their minds.

According to a report by UsWeekly the following morning, Sophie and Joe looked particularly smitten at HBO's official afterparty.

Remaining coy about the new romance, the TV actress also told Extra she was 'very happy' with her love life as she walked the red carpet that night.

Sophie confirmed her romance with Joe last week, when they made it 'Instagram official' but reports of the tryst date back to November 2016.
