Twinning! The Bachelor sisters Emily and Haley Ferguson land their own spinoff reality show

A new The Bachelor spinoff series starring twins Haley and Emily Ferguson is on its way to air, Variety have reported.

The 23-year-olds had competed unsuccessfully for Ben Higgins' hand on the ABC smash hit's 20th outing last year, and also failed to find a lasting relationship on the third series of Bachelor In Paradise that summer.

The Twins: Happily Ever After? will premiere March 20 on Freeform, and will fling them from the safety of their mother's home, forcing them to build lives of their own.

The first series of Happily Ever After had revolved about Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, who'd won the 20th series of The Bachelor.

Fergusons Haley and Emily had been among the smattering of The Bachelor stalwarts to make appearances on that show.

Ben And Lauren: Happily Ever After? premiered last October 11 and ran for eight episodes until its finale on November 29.

Haley Ferguson wound up being eliminated from The Bachelor during the fourth week, finding herself in 14th place.

Her sister fared a bit better, clinging on until the seventh week before being sent home and garnering a spot at 6th place. 

Bachelor In Paradise, meanwhile, began its third series on August 12 and ran for eleven episodes until airing its finale on September 6.

Both waitresses elected to leave the programme during the fourth week, as did barber Vincent 'Vinny' Ventiera.

The 28-year-old had competed on the 12th series of The Bachelorette that year, lasting until the fifth week in his bid for an engagement to Joelle 'JoJo' Fletcher.

Mike Fleiss, creator of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, will executive produce The Twins: Happily Ever After? alongside Jason Ehrlich and Martin Hilton, who've been producers on both programmes.
