Ready to roll! Katie Holmes sports curlers in her hair as she gets to work on the set of Ocean's Eight in NYC

The cast is already brimming with some of Hollywood's biggest female names.

And it seems that Katie Holmes is the latest actress to sign on for Ocean's Eight, as the actress was seen wandering around the film's set in curlers on Tuesday.

Arriving on location in New York, the 38-year-old actress looked to be preparing for a stint on camera clutching a coffee cup after spending some time with rollers in her hair.

Rolling with the Ocean crew? It seems that Katie Holmes is the latest actress to sign on for Ocean's Eight, as the actress was seen wandering around the film's set in curlers on Tuesday

She looked to be in high-spirits as she arrived on the set of the all-female spin-off of the original Ocean's trilogy.

Wrapping up against the cold weather, Katie strolled onto the set in a plaid overcoat, which she wore over a blue shirt and jumper combo.

She also sported a pair of baggy acid-washed denim jeans which she teamed with a pair of black loafers.

Striding onto the set, Katie looked ready for business as she clutched a large cup from Starbucks in one hand.

Presumably equipped with her shot of java for the day, she also carried a large black leather handbag on one arm as she made her way between trailers.

The first port of call for the Batman Begins actress was the make-up trailer, from which Katie emerged with rollers in her brunette tresses.

With her locks being coiffed and styled into a voluminous do, it certainly looked as though the former Dawson's Creek star was getting set to appear in front of the camera.

Following a brief chat outside as the sun sank beneath the skyline, Katie headed back into the make-up trailer to have the finishing touches made to her hair.

Director Gary Ross has been filming all over New York for a couple of months and was due to set cameras rolling at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in Manhattan on Tuesday.

Although the plot has been kept under wraps, Tuesday's location seems to back up reports that the girl gang will attempt a heist at the glitzy Met Gala.

The star cast includes Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Dakota Fanning, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna and Awkwafina among others.

Matt Damon will reprise his role as Linus Caldwell from Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, filmed between 2001 and 2007.

Hair's a thing: She later emerged, fully coiffed  and with a beaming smile on her face

Sandra is the film's tie-in to the original Ocean's franchise. She plays the sister of Clooney's character, Danny Ocean.

Ocean’s Eight is due to hit theaters on June 8, 2018.

Meanwhile Katie, who shares 10-year-old daughter Suri with ex-husband Tom Cruise, was spotted in the same outfit when she rode the subway with a pal earlier in the day.
