Real-life married couple Chris Pratt and Anna Faris look set to steam up the small screen in a couple of weeks.

New stills from the sitcom Mom, which stars Faris, show the two of them passionately kissing on a haystack, he stroking her leg and bottom.

As they wander through a stable in another still, the Jurassic World star can be seen in a sheer white T-shirt that showcases his well-built figure.

The episode Good Karma And The Big Weird, which will air on January 19, will see his character get romantically involved with the co-lead played by his 40-year-old wife. 

Pratt's recently dished to Vanity Fair that the onscreen kiss he shared with his wife wound up outlasting the actual filming of the take.

The CBS sitcom, which is on its fourth series, stars Allison Janney and Faris as a mother and daughter, respectively, who are both coping with addiction recovery.

Per an episode synopsis, it's Janney's character Bonnie who nudges the Faris and Pratt characters together.

One of the new stills shows the mother and daughter hugging - Faris, incidentally, wearing the same hoodie she wears whilst kissing Pratt on the haystack.

Nick, whom the Passengers star plays, enters the story by way of his aunt Marjorie, who's portrayed by Mimi Kennedy and has been a regular since the second season.

In another still, the Faris character Christy can be seen fumblingly trying to mount the horse she'd met in the stable, with a bit of assistance from Nick.

Yet another still shows them standing at a parking metre outside a shop, he in a figure-hugging white full-sleeved shirt with two buttons undone over his chest.

One more image sees Christy sat upright in bed, a guilty expression on her face as she stares at her laptop and her mother dozes beside her.

Last week, another still had emerged of them kissing in the stable near a heap of saddles, she wrapping her legs about him.

The 40-year-old and her 37-year-old husband have been married since 2009. They have a four-year-old son named Jack.

Pratt's no stranger to sitcoms, having spent seven series playing the adorably buffoonish Andy Dwyer on the NBC programme Parks And Recreation.

The couple have appeared together in a handful of projects, including the 2011 films What's Your Number? and Take Me Home Tonight and the 2013 feature Movie 43.

In the February issue of Vanity Fair, which he's covered, Pratt explained that during his Mom episode, his character woos Faris' with the Kenny Rogers song Lady.

One of the new stills does, in fact, show him looking up and playing guitar whilst wearing a slightly oversize waistcoat. 

'I played it, then we kissed. Normally, when you do a kissing scene, it’s awkward, and when it’s done you say: "Are you O.K.?"' he told Vanity Fair.

As the Guardians Of The Galaxy star recalled, however, 'this was different. After they yelled: "Cut," we laughed and just kept on kissing.'
