'I'm about love not hate': Vivica A Fox apologizes for saying gay men were not welcome at her male strip club Black Magic

Vivica A. Fox has issued an apology to the LGBTQ community.

The 52-year-old says she is sorry for saying gay men were unwelcome at the star's new male-employed Black Magic strip club during an interview with The Breakfast Club last week.

Vivica clarified her feelings in a reply to an Instagram comment that called the star out for the remark.

Making things right: Today Fox apologized to the LGBTQ community, defending herself by explaining 'I've been a FRIEND n supported of the LGBT community for years!'

No offense meant: Vivica A. Fox insists her comments were not meant to be hurtful, explaining 'I'm all about LOVE not HATE dawling' in an Instagram comment.

She said: 'I've been a FRIEND n supporter of the LGBT community for years!

'My intention was not to offend anyone and I'm woman enough to apologize if you felt that way.'

She continued: 'My show has already been taped and I was just doing something for the ladies but all are welcome to enjoy Vivica's Black Magic Show! It's HAWT... I'm all about LOVE not HATE dawling! Have a blessed day.'

Say what? The star came under fire after implying that gay men were not welcome to her all-male exotic dance revue during an interview with The Breakfast Club

She made the initial comments while the Chocolate City actress stopped by The Breakfast Club last week to promote her new reality series Vivica's Black Magic.

The Lifetime reality series follows the star's hunt for the sexiest talent to star in her all-male dance revue.

When asked by morning hosts Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy if gay guys would be welcome at Black Magic her response was a blunt: 'Hell no!'

Controversial: The star tried to explain her comments by saying 'It's called 'he ultimate girl's night out for a reason' but the damage was already done

She tried to explain her reasoning, saying: 'There's no need... It's called the ultimate girl's night out for a reason.'

The director and producer of Black Magic Jean-Claude LaMarre swiftly chimed in, saying: 'The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed.'

LaMarre will no longer work with the Soul Food actress.

Vivica’s Black Magic airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.

Too little, too late: It was too late for Vivica to make some apologies. Black Magic director Jean LaMarre quit the show, saying 'the comments were out of order'. Here, the Soul Food actress appears alongside some of her hunky dancers at the Sirius XM studios
