Blonde bombshell! Ivanka lets her hair down and dons a glamorous ensemble as she heads out to show her support for Trump at his press conference

  • On Wednesday morning the 35-year-old was photographed heading to her father Donald's first press conference since he became the president-elect
  • Ivanka donned a green dress and a $325 coat from her eponymous collection to the media event, which was also attended by her brothers Donald Jr. and Eric
  • The businesswoman has stepped down from her job as Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization after 11 years
  • Ivanka also sold off all her common stock and resigned from her director position at her eponymous fashion line
  • These moves seem to suggest that Ivanka will be performing many of the duties assigned to the First Lady in the White House when her father takes office
  • It was announced on Monday that Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner would serve as one of Trump's advisers in the White House, but would not accept a salary

Ivanka Trump was dressed to impress when she left her New York City apartment on Wednesday morning, just a few days after it was revealed that she was leaving the Trump Organization and stepping down as the head of her fashion line.

The 35-year-old covered her green and black pencil dress with a $325 black wrap coat from her eponymous collection before leaving her Park Avenue apartment and heading to her father Donald's first press conference since he became the president-elect.

Ivanka's long blond hair was blown out and flowing past her shoulders as she walked out of the gilded doors of her building and smiled for the photographers waiting outside.

Wrap up in Ivanka Trump's coat for winter

Ivanka always looks flawless and perfectly put together.

And 'impeccable' is exactly how we would describe Ivanka Trump's winter coat that she wore from her own collection today as she stepped headed out to her NYC home.

Ivanka's sophisticated coat features a funnel neck and asymmetrical silhouette that cinches at the waist for a look that feels effortless and feminine all at once.

She paired this wrap coat with some tonal pumps for a look that can only be described as perfect.

With winter in full swing, we can't think of a more perfect time than right now to prep for your cold-weather look. So why not give it a little update by clicking (right) to Lord & Taylor to steal Ivanka's style or shop one of the beauties in the edit below?

Glamorous look: Ivanka wore her long blonde hair in a very straight style, allowing it to flow loose around her shoulders

When she arrived at Trump Tower for the press conference, Ivanka ditched her jacket to show off her sleeveless green dress.

Ivanka's brothers, Donald Jr., 39, and Eric, 33, also stood by their dad's side at the media event.

The businesswoman has just stepped down from her role as Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization after 11 years with the company, so she could follow her father Donald to the White House during his presidency.

Looking somber: Ivanka and her brothers Eric (far left) and Donald Jr. (far right) stood alongside their father (center) during his press conference on Wednesday

She also sold off all her common stock and resigned from her director position at her fashion line, but that doesn't mean she has stopped wearing her collection.

In addition to her coat, Ivanka accessorized her ensemble on Wednesday with what appeared to be a pair of black suede pumps and a handbag from the brand.

It was revealed on Wednesday that Ivanka Trump Marks LLC filed legal documents to expand the collection to include bras, underwear and other lingerie featuring the future First Daughter's name.

Elegant ensemble: When she arrived at Trump Tower for the media event, Ivanka shed her coat to show off her sleeveless dress

Timing: The press conference is the first one Donald has held since he became the president-elect

The documents were filed just after she resigned from her job, and the clothing line using Ivanka's name will partner with G-III for the new items, which are expected to hit stores in the spring.

The married mother-of-three choosing to step down from her jobs seems to confirm the long held belief that she will be performing some of the duties that are normally assigned to the First Lady while her father is in office.

It was reported earlier this week that Ivanka would not accept a position in the White House, where her husband Jared Kushner, 36, will be working as a senior adviser to her father.

Proud mom: Ivanka took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself holding her nine-month-old son Theodore while she took him and her five-year-old son Joseph sledding

Happy family: Ivanka's husband Jared Kushner has been named her father Donald's senior adviser. They are pictured with their children in Hawaii over the holidays

Although Ivanka is busier than ever now that she and her family are planning a move to Washington, D.C., the doting mom made it a point to spend Sunday afternoon sledding with her sons, Joseph and Theodore.

Ivanka took to Instagram to share a photo of herself holding nine-month-old Theo, as well as a video of her using her foot to push Joseph down a hill on a sled at their country home in New Jersey.

The footage sees Joseph screaming and laughing with joy the entire ride, and the video ends as soon as his sled comes to a stop.

Although it's unclear if Ivanka's only daughter, five-year-old Arabella, was with them, it looked as though the mom had a great time with her boys.
