Demi Lovato mixes bikini fun with breathtaking safari on visit to Kenya

Demi Lovato's been taking in a spellbinding safari at the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya over the past few days.

She's regaled her tens-of-millions-strong social media following with updates from the outdoors, but has also provided a more intimate view from her holiday.

Her Instagram Story's included a mirror selfie in which she posed in a multicoloured bikini that bared her toned legs and enviably flat midriff.

Showing what she's got: On Wednesday, Demi Lovato posted an Instagram Story mirror selfie in a multicoloured bikini from her holiday digs in Kenya

On that platform on Wednesday, she's also uploaded views of the sprawling landscape ahead, dotted with animals she's identified in captions.

'ELEPHANTS!!!' white text blared across the bottom of a Wednesday post. 'GIRAFFES!!,' and 'Rhinos!!' turned up as well, and a group of 'ZEBRAS!!!' galloped about each other on the plain, flinging up clouds of dust.

A close-up selfie posted to social media provided a glimpse at her outfit for the day: a red, white and blue checked shawl draped over a pearl grey striped top.

Viewed from a distance: In another Instagram Story upload, a pair of rhinos could be seen trundling across the grass a ways off

Her hair slicked back and tightly braided, she'd popped on a pair of earrings and had various designs painted across her forehead and cheeks.

In another social media photo - this time taken by someone else - she'd wrapped the fabric round her frame until it almost resembled a smock.

Flanking her were two Maasai men in traditional dress, one of whom was holding what appeared to be a large spear.

Checking out the tree: The singer also caught sight of a couple of giraffes, who'd got closer to her than the rhinos had

Grin and pout: A selfie uploaded Wednesday saw her giving the camera a sidelong grin, surrounded by her fellow travellers

On Wednesday, her Instagram page played host to various photos of herself with her travelling companions, all of whom wore the same shawl she did.

In one photo, in which members of the group smiled broadly up at the camera, they'd wrapped the shawls about their necks.

In another, they were seen from the back whilst sat in a row on the plain, their shawls draped luxuriantly over their backs.

Brimming with cheer: She uploaded an Instagram selfie on Wednesday in which her travelling companions smiled much more broadly

Closer up: One image was a closer-up image of the 24-year-old sat on the ground, sandwiched between two female friends who stared off alongside her

A social media selfie uploaded Wednesday saw her giving the camera a sidelong grin, surrounded by her fellow travellers, a couple of whom pouted.

Three days past, her Snapchat Story had been quite full as well, with one post showing Lovato herself bedecked in local garb and another showing her having a bit of a laugh with a female friend.
