Can't dampen her spirits! Courteney Cox braves LA rain in chic blazer and jeans for lunch outing with friends

She's not letting the uncharacteristic Los Angeles rain bring her down.

And Courteney Cox, 52, looked radiant despite the gloomy weather as she stepped out to have lunch with friends in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon. 

The former Friends star dressed up her casual look with a black blazer that she paired with a matching black sweater.

Never without a hint of her effortless style however, the mother-of-one paired the top with trendy flared jeans and a black and red buckled loafers. 

She always looks good and this time was no exception as the mother-of-one went make-up free to showcase her enviably clear complexion.

She wore her raven locks loose and unstyled, which still looked good despite the weather. 

The gorgeous star finished off her look with a black handbag casually thrown over her shoulder and cool black-rimmed glasses.

She looked to be putting her card back in her wallet, perhaps after paying the meters to park before setting off down the street to meet her lunch companions.  

The friendly star even took some time to stop with a group of girlfriends who saw the actress on the street.

The group no doubt recognized the actress from her years of playing Monica Gellar on the hit TV show Friends and asked her for a photo.

Courteney happily obliged and looked straight to the camera with a hint of a smile as their photo was taken together. 

Her youthful complexion didn't come without some challenges as she navigated the demands of fame.

During her stint on Running Wild With Bear Grylls, she discussed the difficulties of keeping up with the pressures of being a woman in the industry.

Talking to explorer host Bear, the actress confessed: 'Getting older is not the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons.

'I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that. It's something you can't keep up with. The more you relax with it and the less you try...

'Sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go "Oh God, I look horrible."'

Before she added: 'I have done things that I regret and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that's good because it's not always been my best look.'
